‘Central’ – Sippy Downs

Located within the Sippy Downs Town Centre, Central – Sippy Downs comprises a mix of food retail, office space, health care services and indoor sport and recreation across a 3,556sqm mixed-use complex adjoining the recently completed Coles Supermarket on Sippy Downs Drive. The site is also in close proximity to Youi headquarters and the University of the Sunshine Coast.  Tenants who have secured premises in this complex include Chipmunks Playland & Cafe, Domino's, Banjo's and F45 Training.

Car Parking Station, Mooloolaba

Adams + Sparkes Town Planning formed part of the project team for Sunshine Coast Council’s Car Parking Station, located at Brisbane Road, First Avenue and Smith Street, Mooloolaba. The Car Parking Station presents a significant urban renewal project and forms a key component of Sunshine Coast Council’s car parking strategy, providing a total of 706 car parking spaces and 54 motorcycle/parking spaces delivered over eight (8) storeys. The car parking station provides a modern built form that takes cues from the environment and history of the Sunshine Coast and provides ground-level commercial tenancies, which integrate with the Mooloolaba Hospitality precinct.

Officeworks, Warana

This approved development comprises an Officeworks anchored retail site fronting one of the busiest arterial routes on the Sunshine Coast. The approved development also includes two food and drink tenancies to complement and further activate the site.

Reece Plumbing, Yeppoon

Undertaken for our clients, Gibb Group, this purpose-built Reece Plumbing Centre was the first addition to the newly developed Capricorn Coast Homemaker Centre at Yeppoon. ADAMS + SPARKES were engaged to coordinate and manage the development application process through Council.

The Wharf, Mooloolaba

Assisting our clients to achieve their goal to transform this iconic precinct. The Wharf Mooloolaba offers a variety of boutique shops, eateries and activities and is ideally located on the Mooloolah River and within very close proximity to Mooloolaba Beach.  Redevelopment will continue across all areas of the precinct.

Brouhaha Restaurant and Brewery, Maleny

Located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of Maleny, Brouhaha has soon become one of the most recognised and highly regarded brewery in the region. Council approvals for micro-breweries/restaurants can be complex, so we were so pleased to be able to help the owners through the approval maze and allow them to focus on what they do best.... make great beer and great food!

Halfmoon Hideaway, Maleny

Located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Halfmoon Hideaway is a boutique accommodation and wedding venue in the gardens of a beautiful homestead overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. We’re so pleased to have assisted Halfmoon Hideaway in gaining development approval to undertake small-scale weddings on this amazing property.

Mixed Use Development, Bradman Ave

This boutique mixed-use development includes two levels of commercial office space and two upper level dwelling units. Fronting Bradman Avenue and providing views over the Maroochy River, this project will make a positive built form and architectural contribution to this prominent location.

X-Golf, Maroochydore

X-Golf Maroochydore opened in 2019 and provides an advanced indoor golf simulator, which is coupled with food and beverage servicing, which results in a unique atmosphere. ADAMS + SPARKES provided due diligence advice and coordinated the Development Approval process for X-Golf.

Guzman Y Gomez, Arana Hills

GyG Arana Hills was completed in 2020 and comprised a 180sqm restaurant, outdoor dining areas and drive-through within the site of the Arana Hills Plaza shopping centre. The project involved various design challenges throughout the planning phase, due its location within an existing shopping car park and the need to provide an appealing and active streetscape outcome to Patricks Road. Through a collaborative effort by the project team and Moreton Bay Council, the project was approved and subsequently delivered.
