Located on 3,000sqm of land, construction of this significant mixed use development provides a seamless integration with Taringa Railway Station. The proposed development will provide space for various medical uses with access to Brisbane’s highest coverage of privately insured patients and rapidly growing western corridor.  The development comprises 12 storeys in total, with 4 basement carparks.  The approved development includes a hospital, health care services, office, food & drink outlet (cafe) , short-term accommodation (motel), shop, child care centre and 6 dwelling units on the top two floors.  It’s elevated positioning on the crest of Taringa, ensures that all floors have a city view.

Augusta Village Shopping Centre, Springfield

The approved Augusta Village is a neighbourhood convenience based development housing fresh food retail, bottle shop and services (hairdresser) along with a variety of food and beverage tenancies. It is noted that the proposed development takes advantage of the site’s three (3) frontages to Augusta Parkway, Leon Capra Drive and Bertilia Street, and enjoys both a northern aspect and proximity to an existing native landscape reserve abutting the property.  The centre was designed to service the greater Springfield area, with the major tenant being IGA.

The proposed development has been carefully designed to ensure the proposed building height and character is complementary to the surrounding area and representative of Council’s vision for the entry to Mooloolaba along Brisbane Road, while also providing a vibrant entry statement to Mooloolaba that will help stimulate economic benefits to the community. The proposal comprises of a total of 89 x one (1) and two (2) bedroom Motel rooms, 52 residential apartments, Office Space, Shops and Restaurant. The proposed unit mix for the Multiple Dwelling Unit component of the development includes 7 x 1 bedroom apartments, 36 x 2 bedroom apartments, 8 x 3 bedroom apartments and 1 x 4 bedroom penthouse.
